Bethel Mennonite Youth Fellowship (MYF) is for teens going into eighth grade all the way through high school, (12th Grade).
We meet every Sunday evening to have a Bible study meeting.
Each year there are a set of sponsors that are the youth group leaders.
Every summer, we as a youth group go on a mission trip or some sort of trip to build our faith and relationship with Christ as well as become stronger together.
God is the center of our youth group and we do nothing without him.
We know that we are nothing without Jesus and cannot accomplish anything without him, but through Christ we can do all things.
The Lord has worked on our youth group so much and we have been to many youth events that have continually increased our fire for God.
This year we have been doing some new things in the youth group that have been very fun.
One of our new ideas was to have our own youth revival and so we did.
The event was called Lifestyle Checkup 2005.
Another thing that we have done new is that we have been learning and performing different skits and dramas.
They have been very fun to work on and we have learned a lot from them ourselves just by performing.
We have presented these skits at church and at different events that we have hosted.
God has really shown a strong impact from the skits.
July 24 - 30, summer of 2005, the MYF had a group of 21 take a trip to Colorado.
In Colorado, we went to a youth camp called Ravencrest Chalet.
We all had a great time.
There were many activities that would go on through the days, and then in the evenings, we would have our sessions.
The week after we got back from the trip, we had continued our weekly meetings.
That week, we did our yearly elections for officers of the next year.
